Welcome to the Yateley Society Digital Archive
Discover more about the history of Yateley, Frogmore and Darby Green
The Yateley Society has long been interested in gathering and preserving historical facts and information about Yateley, Darby Green and Frogmore. Over the 40 years since our inception, we have researched, gathered and had donated literally thousands of documents, maps, images, video footage, auto recordings and personal items which, once indexed, have found themselves safely stored at the Hampshire Archives. Until now, if you wished to have access to any of those materials or information, you would need to email The Yateley Society with your requirements so that our archivist and the local history group, could try to fulfil your request.
No more!
This, The Yateley Society Digital Library is our way of publishing as much of that content as possible, so that people can find what they are interested in for themselves. We have a lot of archive material and it could take a long time to put it onto this Digital Library. If you’re interested in trawling the archives (which are mostly on hard drives) to extract material for the Digital Archive, please volunteer!!

GET INVOLVED
If history and archives are your thing?!…
This website will be an ongoing project to build, and will take a veritable army of volunteers to enter all wonderful materials into the dashboard for people to search through.
If you can spare a few hours each month, drop us a message and be a part of this fabulous project!
